relationships are a lot of career

Deep down she knew that she could avoid all of it if she could just talk enough to her husband. They talked, you know, like people talk...but didn't really talk enough. They didn't say anything and instead of accepting that she had nothing to say, she just thought that if she kept talking she would talk enough. And, as we all know, with just the right amount of talking, everything gets better instead of whatever the fuck it is now. Then she thought about yellow and why a lot of women didn't wear yellow, like that lady at the pool. Why did she think she could get away with yellow? and that kid...why did that kid suck so bad...what was it about him that made him completely intol... then even she quit listening.

He thought he could avoid all of it if ... then he quit listening too.
